Funny moment
I needed to call the utilities place for them to turn on water for my new place (I bought a house, didja ya know that?). So I used an internet relay operator, typing to him, instead of using the dumb old TTY. My coworker comes in while I’m making the phone call and starts talking to me. I said to her “I’m sorry, I am on a phone call.” and she gives the typical response which is mouthing the words “OMG Im sorry, I’ll come back later.”
I don’t think she realized the irony of what she just did.
